Layered Zirconia Bridge #7 -#10
A male patient presented to the clinician and desired to replace the edentulous #8 and 9 with a fixed bridge. A zirconia bridge layered with e-Ceram porcelain by Ivoclar was chosen as the best material for the case and the shade of the adjacent units were matched.
E.max Layered Crowns #7 and 8
A female patient presented to the doctor with old, existing crowns on #7,8 and a restorative need on #9. The case was fabricated with E.max crowns on #7 and 8. Doctor restored the mesial-facial #9 with composite.
E.max Monolithic (Full Contour) Crown #5
An E.max monolithic (full contour) crown was made on #5 using shade 3M2 for this male patient. The characterization was completed based on digital photos provided by the Doctor. The photo shown was taken immediately after seating. Per the Dr., “Looks great, fits great, no adjustments needed. Thanks for the good work, it makes my job easier.”
Layered Zirconia Crown #8
A male patient presented to the Clinician with an old crown he desired to be restored. We were emailed photos of the shade and instructed to match #10. Because the buildup was not ideal, the emergence profile was of concern. Upon cementation of the layered zirconia crown, the clinician sent us a message that said “We wanted to say job well done on this case!!!! Thanks for all your hard work, we appreciate your business with us.”
Full Arch Implant Restoration; Bridges #2-8 and #9-15 with Pink Tissue Porcelain
The patient shown in the photos below is the Doctor’s mother and desired to replace her existing denture. She had 8 implants placed by the surgeon. Two cement retained, high noble PFM bridges were fabricated upon the Doctor’s request. The required vertical dimension demanded that tissue shaded porcelain be used for ultimate esthetics.
Acetal Resin Overpartial for Mandibular Arch
Patient presented to the clinician with minimal existing dentition and requested an esthetic, full arch solution. The patient did not want flanges, so a denture was ruled out as an option, and he did not want the expense of implants. After discussion, it was decided that a Acetal Resin Overpartial was the best prosthesis to satisfy the patient. Both the doctor and patient were extremely pleased with the results.

Patient desired a whiter smile with the diastemas closed, for a more aesthetic smile. He was very pleased with the results.
Valplast Partial to Replace # 4, 6, 7, 8, 10
A female patient desired an esthetic, removable restoration to replace her edentulous dentition. The Doctor prescribed a standard tissue shade Valplast partial for the case and the patient loved the results.
TCS Flexible Partial to Replace # 4, 5, 13, 14
A female patient presented with edentulous # 4, 5, 13 and 14. She was concerned about the esthetics of a partial, but did not want to proceed with implants or bridges. Especially of concern was the clasp on #6. The Clinician and patient decided on a flexible, TCS partial. The case was fabricated from a digital scan using an iTero IOS. Upon delivery, the Clinician said “The patient was THRILLED with the esthetics and the clasps.”
E.max Layered Crowns on Units #6,7,8,9,10 and Full Zirconia Bridges on #3-5 and #11-14
A male patient desired to close his midline diastema, replace edentulous areas in the posterior, and improve the overall esthetics of his smile. He wanted his restorations designed similar to the “Dominant” style shown on the LVI smile catalog. The case was fabricated utilizing E.max layered crowns on units 6 through 10, and full zirconia bridges on units 3 through 5 and 11 through 14. Photos were taken immediately post-insertion.
Custom Designed Crown & Bridge
A patient desired the Playboy® logo on canine #6. The bunny was designed digitally and printed in Cr-Co alloy. After printing, porcelain was added and the bridge was anodized gold color.
Layered Zirconia Bridge 9-11
A female patient presented to the clinician with an existing bridge on 5-8. A zirconia bridge layered with e-Ceram porcelain by Ivoclar was chosen as the best material for the case and the shade of the adjacent units were matched. (The facial margin of #11 was kept supragingival by the Clinician.)
Full Contour Zirconia Bridge with Layered Pink Porcelain on Mini-Implants
A male patient presented with a mini-implant retained denture and desired a stronger restoration that was also flangeless and did not push out his lip. The Clinician prescribed a full zirconia bridge with layered porcelain. A printed bridge was made for the patient to approve the gumline position and contours, and to confirm the VD was as required. After approval of the printed bridge the patient and the Clinician, the printed bridge was replicated in zirconia, then the pink porcelain applied to the flange, and the female housings were cemented inside the bridge.
TCS Flexible Partial for a Patient that Lacked Occlusal Clearance on the Right Side
The partially edentulous patient lacked occlusal clearance on the right side. The Clinician desired the patient to occlude on the flexible material, and have buccal side facings for aesthetics when the patient smiles. Because resin teeth rely on mechanical retention in flexible partials, it would be likely the buccal facings would have a difficult time with retention within the flexible material. To solve this issue, we designed and milled buccal facings using PMMA material and incorporated internal mesh on the ridge for the necessary mechanical retention. The result is a functional flexible partial that meets the Clinician’s requirement for both function and aesthetics.
Layered Zirconia Crown With Characterization From Photos
Unit #7 was made as a layered zirconia crown. The Clinician instructed for C4 at the apical third and A2 for the coronal 2/3. Photos were sent for characterization of the crown. According to the photos provided (without shade tabs held up), the incisal translucency extends apically from the incisal into the body third. There are craze lines and fracturing present, as well as an incisal edge halo.
Yellow Gold Open Face Bridge
The patient desired a bridge with open face gold units. The Clinician and patient asked to review the design so that the thickness of the border and the contours could be approved by both the patient and the Clinician. Abutment #9 would not allow the mesial of 8 and 9 to be in the same facial alignment. The below images show the final, approved result.
Open face gold teeth and full gold teeth for Dentures
The patient desired open face 22K yellow gold teeth on the upper anterior and 22k full gold teeth on the lower anterior. The dentures were made using hydrocolloid processing.
Layered Zirconia Crown with Characterization
We fabricated a layered zircona crown (layered with E.max Ceram porcelain) according to the photos provided via email from the Clinician. The crown was designed with mottling and craze lines according to the pre-op photos. Here are the two pre-op photos we were provided by the Clinician, photos of the crown on the model, and photos take immediately post-delivery.
